Dog handlers' support
One of our support team will advocate directly with business owner and/or their management team on behalf of the dog handler with either a guide, hearing or assistance dog when they have been refused access into an Australian public area.
Exceptions to the rule: Excludes areas where medical hygiene must be maintained and/or medical equipement can affect the dogs' health due to radiation, example: MRI areas.
Business owner & their management team support
We have a pre-recorded message (press 2) on the rights of a dog handler with either a guide, hearing or assistance dog when in Australian public areas.
g.h.a. dog foundation research has found 95% of business owners and/or their management team we spoke too, who refused access 'were not aware of Australian laws governing a guide, hearing or assistance dog when in an Australian public areas'.

We assist dog handlers with either a guide, hearing, or assistance dog gain access into an Australian public area they have been refused entry into.

We assist business owners and/or their management team who may not be aware of Australian laws that govern guide, hearing, & assistance dogs when in Australian public areas.
To assist business owner we have a pre-recorded message on the rights of a guide, hearing, & assistance dogs when in Austraian public areas and penalties that may be incurred by a business and their management teams.
Disability Discrimination ACT 1992 (hereafter)
Summary of ACT
The Act are laws supporting a person living with a disability and the objective of the Act are:
(a) to eliminate, as far as possible, discrimination against persons on the ground of disability in the areas of:
(i) work, accommodation, education, access to premises, clubs and sport; and
(ii) the provision of goods, facilities, services and land;
and
(iii) existing laws;
and
(iv) the administration of Commonwealth laws and programs;
and
(b) to ensure, as far as practicable, that persons with disabilities have the same
rights to equality before the law as the rest of the community;
and
(c) to promote recognition and acceptance within the community of the principle that persons with disabilities have the same fundamental rights as the rest of the community
